Facilities of Department

      ESOGU Faculty of Agriculture Ali Numan Kıraç Campus on the lands allocated to the department; There is a collection orchard consisting of different varieties of pome and stone fruit (apple, pear, plum, cherry, sour cherry, peach, nectarine) in 70 decares and vegetable parcels in 10 decares. There is a 500 m2 plastic greenhouse.

      ESOGU Faculty of Agriculture, Sarıcakaya-Mayıslar Campus, on the lands belonging to our Faculty; There is an orchard consisting of various fruit species on an area of 400 decares. Cherry, pomegranate, olive, plum, fig, peach, apricot, persimmon, pistachio are some of the species in this campus.

      An olive oil squeezing facility was established in the building of our faculty located on the Mayıslar campus and started its activities at the end of 2011. Due to the climatic conditions of Sarıcakaya-Mayıslar region, it has a microclimate feature and has a climate similar to the Aegean-Mediterranean climate. This situation provides a great advantage in terms of horticultural cultivation.
